Founded in 2014, the Bandits were formed as recreational cheer that competes at a high level of competition. The Bandits are currently able to accept registrations from athletes living in the Conner School District. Athletes are from grades pre-K through 8th grade. 

With a focus on cheer fundamentals, the Bandits also enforce strict guidelines for athletes to excel off the field in school and community.

Division Ages/Grades: Grade during 2024-2025 school year

• Mascots - 3, 4 or 5 years olds (choose Kindergarten when registering)
• Starters - 1st and 2nd grade
• Midgets - 3rd and 4th grade
• Juniors - 5th - 6th grade
• Seniors - 7th - 8th grade

Cost: Includes league & organization fees/insurance.  Tumbling, gym rental, signs, comp fees, spirit packs and uniform rentals.

• Registration fee is $130 per cheerleader
  • $20 reimbursement to the referring family for each new referral to our program (not to exceed your paid registration amount)
  • Reimbursement will be issued once the new referred cheerleader/player pays registration and fundraising fees in full.
• Fundraising fees for each family by age:
  • $150 for the first player/cheerleader
  • $100 for the 2nd player/cheerleader
  • $50 for the 3rd (or more) player/cheerleader
• Fundraising options will be provided at the beginning of the season.
• If you are not interested in participating in the fundraising options, you may pay your fundraising fee at the same time as registration.

Practice:

•  Begins mid July
•  Starters thru Seniors practice 3 days per week 6-8 PM outside until we move to indoor practices
•  Mascots practice 2 day per week 6-7 PM
•  All practices outside are at Conner Middle School
•  Practices will drop to 2 days per week for Starters-Seniors and to 1 day a week for Mascots once school begins
•  As competition gets closer, practice days and times will change based on gym availability. 
•  Additional Practices could be added during as it gets closer to competition time. 
•  More information on practice times will be available closer to the start of the season.

Competition:

• We compete in 2 Cheer Competitions each year (hopefully more here soon)
• NKYFL Cheer Competition is in the middle to end of October.
• LJS Cheer & Dance Competition hosted by Premier Athletics at the beginning of November usually.  
• Cheerleaders are required to stay the entire competition to cheer their other teams on. 
• Details and times to be announced for both competitions as it gets closer and things become finalized
• Cheerleaders are required to cheer ALL regular season games, playoff games and Super Bowl games after competition (thru the last weekend in October).
