The Northern Kentucky Youth Football League (NKYFL) has announced the induction of Coach Adam Clifton into its prestigious Hall of Fame, honoring his years of leadership, success, and impact on young athletes across the region.

For the past eight years, Clifton has served as a dedicated coach and mentor with NKYAthletics and the Bandits organization, shaping not only championship-winning teams but also the character and discipline of countless young players. His commitment to excellence has made him a cornerstone of the Northern Kentucky youth football community.

Under Coach Clifton’s guidance, his teams have compiled an extraordinary record of success, including four NKYFL Super Bowl Championships between 2021 and 2024, the NKY Bandits’ first-ever River City Classic Championship in 2020, and three Battle in Rocky Top National Championships in 2020, 2021, and 2024. His squads also captured the 2022 River Town Rumble title and secured the 2024 KMSFA Regional Championship, advancing to the Final Four with the 6th-grade team.

In league play, Clifton’s teams went undefeated from the Starter through Junior divisions — a feat rarely seen in NKYFL youth football. But beyond the wins, colleagues, parents, and players alike point to his dedication to building strong, respectful, and confident young men who carry his lessons far beyond the field.

“Coach Clifton represents what youth sports are all about,” said Cory Franklin, the NKYAthletics Director of Football. “He’s passionate about the game, invested in his players, and committed to making a difference.”

President of NKYAthletics, Travis Nipper shared, "Coach Clifton is second to none. He embodies our mantra of 'Built by Champions' and giving excellence to receive excellence. I know of no youth coach that dedicates more time to  honing his craft, mentoring his staff, communicating with parents, and preparing young athletes for life on and off the field than Adam. His teams' successes through the years are a natural result of his love for his players and the game. NKYA and the Bandits have been immensely blessed by his leadership"

Coach Clifton’s induction into the Northern Kentucky Youth Football Hall of Fame celebrates not just his success as a coach, but his lasting contribution to the development of young athletes and the spirit of community that drives youth sports in the region.
